Cross racing is back for the 7th successive year at Baker Orchard, rebranded as Donkey Cross. Similar to last year, Donkey Label Racing is promoting the event, and Coldwell Banker Burnet Realtor, Tom Nielsen, has upped the ante, providing the $1500 cash prize list (up from $1000 last year). Donkey Label will provide it's unique wears as merchandise prizes for the non-cash fields.
All the great course features are back by popular demand:
- Low barriers between the apple stand and orchard barn
- Log Stair Run-up
- Sandpit
- Double Track Sections through the woods
- Racing through the apple trees
The course will be unchanged from last year, with the exception of moving the finish back to it's original position to be more spectator friendly.
Like past years, there will be music and a race announcer to keep spectators up to date on each race as it happens.

Chip Timing services will be provided by Endurance Promotions, to provide timely and accurate race results.
As in years past, on top of the $1500 cash plus merchandise, our popular custom medals will be awarded to the top 3 in each race category, and each field winner receives a peck of apples! An back by popular demand, the Apple Hole Shot!
The Orchard Stand will be open for business and free Brats will be provided to all race participants.
